The company's sugar sales in its Mundiyampakkam unit nearly doubled rising by 76% to 10, 513 million tonne in June 2017 as against 5,951 million tonne in the year ago period.
While, sugar sales in the company's Semmedu unit decline by almost 8% to 2,363 million tonne in June 2017 from earlier 2,566 million tonne in the year ago period.
Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals is engaged in the business of white crystal sugar, co-generation of power and industrial alcohol. The Company's segments include Sugar, Cogeneration, Distillery and Others. The Sugar segment consists of white crystal sugar.
Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd is currently trading at Rs 58.5, up by Rs 2.8 or 5.03% from its previous closing of Rs 55.7 on the BSE.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.83 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.04 % and 52.12 % respectively.
