Sambhaav Media commences operations of FM Radio Station at Leh; Stock hits upper circuit

The company had earlier informed regarding receipt of FM Radio licenses for 13 cities.

Sambhaav Media Limited has commenced operations of the last FM Radio Station on December 16, 2021, at Leh (In the Union Territory of Ladakh) (91.1 MHz).

The company had earlier informed regarding receipt of FM Radio licenses for 13 cities which included Bharuch, Veraval, Porbandar, Junagadh, Godhra, Mehsana, Jamnagar, and Bhavnagar in the state of Gujarat and Bhaderwah, Kathua, and Poonch in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Kargil and Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh acquired under EAuction of Second Batch of Private FM Radio Phase-III Channels.

“With this all the above referred 13 FM Radio Stations have been operationalised,” the company said in a filing on Thursday.

At around 9.28 am, Sambhaav Media Ltd was trading at 5% upper circuit at Rs5.44 per piece up by Rs0.25 from its previous closing of Rs5.19 per piece on the BSE.
