SBI General eyes to infuse Rs. 2.5 billion in FY14

SBI General Insurance on Wednesday said it is planning to infuse Rs. 2.5 billion capital in the current fiscal.

The Mumbai-based general insurer is on the lookout for capital to run its business.

The company will continue to focus on retail and certain other segments such as travel insurance, home insurance and health insurance plans.

SBI General is a joint venture between the State Bank of India (SBI) and Insurance Australia Group (IAG).
