The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.35% at 10,869, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.49% at 11,423.

However, we remain skeptical regarding the probability of attaining 2% inflation, considering depressed commodity prices and fragile global economic backdrop.
