Sensex gains 31.25 points; Sugar stocks decline

The BSE Sensex opened today at 27,171.66 level, gaining 31.25 points or 0.12%.
Sensex is struggling today to stay above 27250 level.
IT, Energy, Finance, Utilities, Auto, Power and Metal indices are trading in green today.

Despite market moving in an upward direction the following Sugar stocks are losing their value. These Sugar stocks were trading in green in Wednesday’s session but surprising but are falling in Thursday’s session.
Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited has touched low at Rs 71.20 per share, down by Rs 1.30 per share or 1.79%.
Balrampur Chini Mills Limited is trading at Rs 137.15 per share, slipping by Rs 2.65 per share or 1.89%.
Oudh Sugar Mills Limited is trading at Rs 135.60 per share, down by Rs 2.55 per share or 1.85%.
Ugar Sugar Works Limited has touched low at Rs 35.55 per share, down by Rs 1.50 per share or 4.05%. 

Stock view:-

Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd is currently trading at Rs 72.05, down by Rs 0.45 or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs 72.5 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 72.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs 73.85 and Rs 71.2 respectively. So far 600688(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1870.1 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 75.95 on 11-Jan-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 34 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 75.95 and Rs 64.3 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.22 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.68 % and 25.1 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
