Sun TV Network slips 5%; partners with Yupp TV to launch new channels

Sun TV Network partners with YuppTV to launch its channels in Middle East and North Africa.

Sun TV Network ended lower 5% at Rs. 357.65. The company  will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 12 February 2016, to take on record and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 31 December 2015 (Q3), to consider declaration and payment of interim dividend if any, for FY 2015-16.

The scrip opened at Rs. 363 and touched a high and low of Rs. 368.8 and Rs. 353.5 respectively. A total of 1023415 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14821.35 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 459.95 on 20-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 256.05 on 22-Jul-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 386 and Rs. 349.85 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.41% and 5.59% respectively.

The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
