Supreme Industries stock spurts after Axis MF buys 12.25 lakh shares

Axis Mutual Fund has bought 12.25 lakh equity shares in the company at Rs1,080 per share, as per the bulk deals data available on the BSE.

Shares of Supreme Industries gained 4% on the BSE in the afternoon trade after Axis Mutual Fund acquired a percent stake in the company through the open market transaction.

Axis Mutual Fund has bought 12.25 lakh equity shares in the company at Rs1,080 per share, as per the bulk deals data available on the BSE.

On Wednesday’s trade, the stock clocked volume of 14.27 lakh shares on BSE, a 946.32 times surge over the two-week average daily volume of 1508 shares.

The is currently trading at Rs1,122.50 up by Rs41.05 or 3.8% from its previous closing of Rs1,081.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs1,130.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs1,138.40 and Rs1,097.15 respectively.
