Supreme Petrochem temporary shuts down Manali plant due to heavy rains in Chennai

The water level has started receding and it will take about one week's time for restoring the operations completely.

Supreme Petrochem Ltd stocks are under pressure after it has informed to the exchanges regarding temporary shut down of operations in the company.

As per regulatory filing, the manufacturing operations of the company at its Manali Plant, Chennai, Tamilnadu is under temporary shutdown due to heavy rains in Chennai causing water logging in the plant area.

Further, the water level has started receding and it will take about one week's time for restoring the operations completely, said company in a filing  on Monday.

On Tuesday at around 9:55 AM, Supreme Petrochem was trading at Rs657.20 apiece down by Rs12.45 or 1.86% on the BSE.
