Thiru Arooran Sugars hits 10% upper circuit after Q4 nos

The company reported net profit of Rs.27.37 crore for the quarter ended March 2016 as compared with net loss of Rs.18.61 crore, in a year ago quarter.

Thiru Arooran Sugars hit 10% upper circuit to Rs.108.05 on BSE. The company reported net profit of Rs.27.37 crore for the quarter ended March 2016 as compared with net loss of Rs.18.61 crore in a year ago quarter.

The scrip opened at Rs. 105.1 and touched a high and low of Rs. 108.05 and Rs. 105.1 respectively. A total of 145972(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 111.22 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 101.85 on 13-Jun-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.15 on 11-Sep-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 101.85 and Rs. 81.7 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.31 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.23 % and 35.46 % respectively.
