Gary Cohen, who leads the Affordable Care Act, would resign from his post of the director of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight on March 31, according to a media report.

However, no reason has been provided for Cohen's departure. He will be replaced by physician Mandy Cohen, who is currently serving in another leadership position at the CCIIO, the report said.
The CCIIO is also responsible for implementing measures concerning private health insurance.
