Another path breaking finale of the biggest interschool fiesta series came to an exciting end as HORLICKS WIZKIDS 2010 by Krayon announced the winners of the South Asia Finals for the year. The event held at Ambedkar Bhavan, Bangalore witnessed enthusiastic students participating from the neighbouring countries Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and India to compete against each other at this grand platform.
With ‘I Want It All’ as the theme for this year, the South Asia Finals of Horlicks Wizkids 2010 by Krayon started on November 21 and culminated today with the Grand Finale on November 25. The winners will get the grand opportunity to visit New Zealand for an international student exchange programme.
This once in a lifetime opportunity will bring the students face to face to higher standards of talent and provide a global exposure to them. These kids have been chosen from amongst 60 finalists who had made it to the Wizkids 2010 South Asia finals after having competed against more than 2 lakh kids at city levels.
The four victorious students to form the Horlicks Wiz Team 2010 are:
Vibha Mohan, Carmel High School, Bangalore
Siddhanth Dubey, Bellabong High, Bhopal
Devesh Narayanan, Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune
Nicole Muiier, Asian International School, Sri Lanka
Horlicks Wizkids by Krayon, is a unique concept which encourages individual performance as well as team spirit through a variety of action packed competitions on diverse extracurricular areas such as music, literature, dance, singing, writing, speaking, creativity, talent, art and design. It is the biggest platform in South Asia for children to come forward and showcase their talent and has acquired a strong equity among the school children over the last seven years.

As part of the evaluation, the finalists had to go through project presentations, interviews, group discussions, games, psychometric tests and other evaluation methods. The projects involved working with NGOs and other organisations for socially relevant causes.

The grand final round of the Wizteam was judged by an eminent panel that comprised of M B Jairam, General Manager- Corporate Communications, Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., Ashish Ballal, Ex- Captain of the Indian Hockey Team, Dr. S. Ghoshal, Acting Dean- NID, R&D Campus, Mrs.
Lilette Dubey, Actress and Theatre person, Zulfiqar Gardezy, Deputy High Commissioner at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, and M. A. Khalid, State Secretary-the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka State, Bangalore and the REGISTRAR and CONTROLLER OF EXAMS for the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
