Supreme Petrochem Q4 net profit at Rs.54.3 crore; sales up 23%

Supreme Petrochem Ltd
has announced the following results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2016:
The company's net profit increased 164.8% to Rs.54.3 crore compared with Rs.20.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Net sales in the fourth quarter stood at Rs.809 crore, up 23% from Rs.657 crore in the same period a year ago.
The company's total income increased 22.9% to Rs.812.4 crore from Rs.661 crore in the same quarter last year.
Supreme Petrochem Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 148.6, up by Rs. 15 or 11.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 133.6 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 136.5 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 148.6 and Rs. 133.9 respectively. So far 2105482(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1289.27 crore.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 136 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 67.1 on 20-Apr-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 135 and Rs. 124.8 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.84 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.32 % and 38.84 % respectively.
The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
