Indian equity markets end the day in Green

Indian equity markets saw another day in Green today. Nifty 50 closed, up by 124.65 points. Sensex closed, up by 899.62 points. Top Gainers today were Adani Enterprises, Tata Motors, ONGC. Top Losers today were Britannia, Tata Steel, JSW Steel.

All the broader market indices ended the day in green. Strong buying demand was seen in many small-cap and mid-cap stocks. Strong buying demand was seen in many Oil & gas stocks, IT stocks and Auto stocks. Selling pressure was seen in some Realty stocks.

Yes Bank, Tata Steel and Suzlon were the most traded stocks today at NSE, in terms of trading volume. Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and HDFC Bank were the most traded stocks in terms of value. 46 stocks touched new 52-week high, today at NSE. 41 stocks touched new 52-week low. Market breadth seemed to be positive.
