Indian equity markets ended the day in Green today. Markets started in the red, but then showed recovery in the last two hours. Nifty 50 closed, up by 35.45 points. Sensex closed, up by 123.63 points. Top Gainers today were IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports and Adani Enterprises. Top Losers today were Bajaj Finance, Hindalco and Tech Mahindra.
Strong buying demand was seen in many mid-cap and micro-cap stocks today. All the broader market indices ended the day in green. Good buying demand was seen in some auto and oil & gas stocks. Selling pressure was seen in some IT stocks, Pharma stocks, Healthcare stocks, and Realty stocks.
Yes Bank, Reliance Power, and Zomato were the most traded stocks today at NSE, in terms of volume. Adani Enterprises, Reliance and HDFC Bank were the most traded stocks in terms of value. 43 stocks touched new 52-week high today. 59 stocks touched new 52-week low.
