Zomato Ltd reported 75% increase in revenues yoy for the Q4FY22 quarter on consolidated basis at Rs1,212 crore. On a sequential basis, revenues were up for the quarter by 8.97%.

Full year FY22 revenues were up 102% at Rs4,192 crore. For Q4FY22, Zomato saw solid growth across its food delivery vertical and its Hyperpure vertical.

For FY22, the gross order value (GOV) stood at Rs213 billion and the contribution as percentage of GOV was positive at 1.7%. Zomato received 535 million orders during the year, the highest in last 4 years.

Average monthly transacting customers stood at 14.7 million more than twice of last year.

The consolidated net loss for Q4FY22 widened to Rs-359.70 crore as compared to Rs-130.80 crore in the Q4FY21 quarter and Rs-63.20 crore in the sequential third quarter.

The widening of the loss was largely on account of a sharp yoy spike in manpower costs and delivery charges amidst a sharp spike in the price of petrol and diesel.

As of the close of FY22, Zomato had 1.8 lakh monthly active food delivery restaurants and it had over 2.85 lakh active monthly delivery partners. Net negative cash from operations narrowed yoy.
