BlackRock Makes Significant Share Moves in Tata Comm and Polycab; Blend Fund Secures Stake in Fedbank

Blackrock acquires 1.56% shares in Tata Communications and 1.17% stake in Polycab India through open market transactions on November 30. Blackrock Global Funds-India Fund purchases 44.62 lakh equity shares in Tata Communications at an average price of Rs 1,707.69 per share, totaling Rs 762 crore.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage sells 59.87 lakh shares in Tata Communications at an average price of Rs 1,704.1 per share, amounting to Rs 1,020.36 crore. Blackrock Global Funds-India Fund buys 17.49 lakh shares (1.16% of equity) in Polycab India at an average price of Rs 5,266.22 per share, totaling Rs 921.25 crore.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage offloads 19.53 lakh shares in Polycab at an average price of Rs 5,263.5 per share, valuing Rs 1,028.3 crore.

Despite the transactions, Polycab’s stock rises over 2% to Rs 5,267.9 on the NSE with a volume of 68.18 lakh shares.

Blend Fund 2 acquires 30.06 lakh shares (0.8% of equity) in newly listed Fedbank Financial Services at Rs 143.86 per share on the listing day.

One 97 Communications, the Paytm operator, witnesses activity as Copthall Mauritius Investment sells 46.5 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 875.7 per share (Rs 407.25 crore), and BNP Paribas Arbitrage net sells 85.9 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 875.16 per share (Rs 751.77 crore).
