Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (TCPL) is expected to pay Rs6,000—7,000 crore for Bisleri International.
Bisleri International chairman Ramesh Chauhan does not have a successor to take the company to the next level.
He formerly sold Coca-Cola products such as Thums Up, Gold Spot, and Limca.
Bisleri, India’s largest packaged water manufacturer, is predicted to make Rs2,500 crore in revenue and Rs220 crore in profit in FY23.
In 1993, Chauhan and his brother Prakash sold their whole business to Coca-Cola. It also includes brands like Citra, RimZim, and Maaza, in addition to Thums Up and Limca. Himalayan and Tata Copper Plus are two brands of packaged mineral water that TCPL sells.
