Hinduja Global unveils global customer experience hub in Barranquilla, Columbia; stock spurts ~4%

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS), a digital-led CX transformation leader for the world's most admired brands, announced the opening of a new multilingual customer experience (CX) hub in Colombia to support customers with English, Spanish, and Portuguese CX needs.
The new modern contact centre located in Barranquilla, on the country's northern coast, is hiring for several permanent leadership and frontline positions to help customers through the holiday season and beyond.
HGS expects to hire over 150 local employees in voice and non-voice multilingual service roles, as well as corporate support functions, by January 2023, and to ramp up further in the future. The HGS Colombia CX hub will initially serve clients in the logistics and consumer industries before expanding to serve other industries.
HGS has been in the Colombian market for eight years, providing multilingual customer, product, and technical support to clients in industries such as telecommunications, healthcare, banking and finance, energy, and retail.
Colombia, Latin America's third-largest country, is known for its accent-neutral and articulate Spanish speakers, three universities ranked among the top 500 in the world, and a robust telecommunications infrastructure throughout the country.
At around 1.22 PM, Hinduja Global was trading at Rs1,264.55 per piece, up by 3.6% from its previous closing of Rs1,220.60 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs1,296.35 and Rs1,223.20 respectively.
