Lyka Labs gains 2%; to increase authorised capital

The company has decided to increase authorized capital from existing Rs.26 crores consisting of Equity Capital of Rs.24 crores and Preference Capital of Rs. 2 crores to Rs.32 crores consisting of Equity Capital of Rs.30 crores and Preference Capital of Rs. 2 crore.

Shares of Lyka Labs closed higher by 2% at Rs.129 on BSE. The company has decided to increase Authorized Capital from existing Rs.26 crores consisting of Equity Capital of Rs.24 crores and Preference Capital of Rs. 2 crores to Rs.32 crores consisting of Equity Capital of Rs.30 crores and Preference Capital of Rs. 2 crores. The Board has decided to raise funds up to Rs.100 crores by way of issue of shares on Preferential basis/Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP)/convertible debentures and any other securities in one or more combination.

The scrip opened at Rs. 127.7 and touched a high and low of Rs. 131.3 and Rs. 127.7 respectively. A total of 497267(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 277.7 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 142.9 on 26-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 24.35 on 24-Dec-2014. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 132.5 and Rs. 115.8 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 24.9 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.75 % and 74.36 % respectively.

The stock traded below its 50 DMA.
