RMC Switchgears stock zooms 7% on receipt of order worth Rs9 crore

RMC Switchgears Limited (RMC) stock zooms around 7% during Tuesday’s afternoon trade after the announcement of receipt of major order.

As per the regulatory filing, the company has received an order of Rs900 lakh (Rs9 crore) from a reputed EPC company APEPDCL. The supplies will be made within next 2 quarters, the company said.

At around 2:28 PM, RMC Switchgears Limited was trading at Rs42.95 per share higher by Rs2.80 or 6.97% on the BSE. Previously the scrip ended at Rs40.15 per share and on Tuesday morning it opened at Rs43.35 per share on the BSE.
