Runaya wins Golden Peacock Award for Innovative Product/ Service for 2022

Runaya Refining LLP has won the Innovative Product / Service award at 2022 Golden Peackock Awards. The award has been given for Brisquettes that it made from Dross at its aluminum dross processing plant. Dross is the waste that is generated in the aluminum smelting process. Brisquettes are compressed blocks of dross that can be used as fuel. Runaya claims that the use of its brisquettes can reduce costs in the steel industry.  Its use can make the entire steel manufacturing process more environmentally sustainable.

Runaya operates India’s first integrated Aluminum Dross processing plant in Jharsuguda in Odissa. Runaya is a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited.
