In conversation with Sheetal Agarwal and Ankur Chandra of IIFL, Sandeep Singh, Chief Operating Officer of Single Interface talks about the business model of the company.

Q1. As a hyper-local marketing company, how effective have you found yourself in generating sales for your clients?

As a hyperlocal marketing and commerce platform we have been able to impact the top line for all our customers. Our product intersection happens at the time when the customer is already in the buying mode. He is actively looking for a product or a service. At that moment, if he is able to discover our client's business locations, product / service offering and seamlessly connect with them over the phone, chat or visit the physical location, it increases the likelihood of conversion drastically. Majority of commerce happens within the vicinity of 5-6 km radius of the customer's home or office. If a brand's locations don't get discovered when the customer is looking for information they are missing out massively on new customer acquisition opportunities. Our product stack helps solve that and thus directly impacts the topline.
Q2.  Has SingleInterface achieved profitability? If not, how soon do you expect to break even and achieve profitability?

Yes. We are already a profitable company.

Q3. Are you cash flow positive in terms of the operational cash flows that you are generating?

Yes. We are operationally cash flow positive.

Q4. Do you use any of your own proprietary software for providing your services? What is the role of software in your business model?

We are a SaaS product company with a suite of products offering hyperlocal marketing & commerce solutions. The whole product suite is proprietary technology created by us to deliver growth for our customers. We use AI, ML  and automation along with integrating to multiple third party APIs for delivering a seamless location marketing, lead generation and commerce solution to customers who use our platform. Through the usage of our product technology, customers are able to manage their physical location's digital presence at scale. Imagine managing location data & a consistent digital presence on Search, Maps, Social Media, Online Directories for thousands of locations - each location has unique attributes, offers, contact details. It's not possible to manage this at scale manually.

Q5. What is your target customer segment? Are you targeting small businesses too?

Any business with brick and mortar presence for their product sales or service delivery is a potential customer for us. We work with all industry segments today - BFSI, Automobile, F&B, Consumer Durable, Fashion Retail, Construction Material, Home Improvements, Travel & Hospitality etc. While our focus is on multi location enterprise businesses, we work with a lot of SMBs who are business / franchise owners of these brands like Car dealers, Stock Brokers etc.  They have been benefiting immensely from the deployment of our product. Our product is modular - to be used by and benefit an enterprise or SMB owner alike. We treat every location as a separate and unique business unit.

Q6. What is the rate of growth you are targeting in the foreseeable future?

We have been growing at the rate of 100-200% annually for the last 6 years and see the same kind of growth in the foreseeable future as well.
