Supreme Industries commence operations at balance manufacturing plants, shares up 1%

The company had temporarily suspended operations from March 25, 2020, at all manufacturing facilities, depots and offices due to COVID19.

The Supreme Industries Ltd intimated the exchanges on Thursday about the commencement of their operations at balance manufacturing plants of the company. All plants of the company are now in operation.

The company has received permissions from respective authorities for production and dispatches for the balance four units at Kanhe (Maharashtra) Industrial Products, Noida (Uttar Pradesh) Industrial Products, Sriperumbudur (Tamil Nadu) Industrial Products and Puducherry Industrial Products and Consumer Products.

“The scaling up of production and dispatches at the units are gradually in progress,” a release from the company said.

The company had temporarily suspended operations from March 25, 2020 at all manufacturing facilities, depots and offices due to Novel Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Later, it had resumed partial operations on April 24, 2020 and May 2, 2020 at 21 locations after receipt of permissions from the respective authorities.

Supreme Industries Ltd is currently trading at Rs913.15 up by Rs12.15 or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs901 on the BSE.
