Ashok Leyland reported a 10% rise in total wholesales for April, reaching 14,271 units compared to 12,974 units last year. Domestic sales saw a 9% increase to 13,446 units in April 2024, up from 12,366 units in April 2023.
Medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market increased by 16% to 8,611 units from 7,422 units last year. However, sales of light commercial vehicles declined by 2% to 4,835 units compared to 4,944 units in the same month last year.
At the time of writing, the company’s stocks were trading at ₹201.40, with a marginal 0.025% gain from the previous close. Over the past year, Ashok Leyland’s stock has surged by 40.15% and by 8.31% since the beginning of the year.
