DCX Systems Ltd has received an export order valued at approximately $54.8 million (₹460.3 crore) from Lockheed Martin Global Inc, USA. The contract involves the supply of electronic assemblies to Lockheed Martin, with the full execution of the order to be completed within 12 months.
In September 2024, DCX Systems announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Raneal Advanced Systems Pvt Ltd, was granted an industrial licence by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The licence authorizes Raneal Advanced Systems to produce, assemble, and test microwave submodules used for command and guidance units in missile subsystems.
Additionally, the licence permits the production, assembly, and testing of avionics, radar systems, and electronic warfare (EW) systems, all of which fall under Category A of the Ministry of Defence Security Manual.
Manufacturing such sensitive defence equipment is classified as high-security and critical from a national security perspective. The production facility, covered by this industrial licence, will be located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and will operate for a period of 15 years.
This strategic expansion into the defence and aerospace sectors enhances DCX Systems’ position in the market, with substantial growth potential in defence electronics and related industries.
With the receipt of this export order and the grant of the industrial licence, DCX Systems is well-positioned to further develop its capabilities in the high-demand sector of defence and aerospace.
