As of 2:00 PM today, the Indian stock market is performing positively, with both major indices, Sensex and Nifty, trading in the green. The Sensex has risen by 537 points, or 0.66%, reaching 82,096, while the Nifty is up by 159 points, or 0.64%, at 25,099. On Nifty, 1,819 stocks have advanced, compared to 602 that have declined.
Among the top gainers on Nifty are Divis Labs, LTI Mindtree, Bharti Airtel, and HCL Tech. Conversely, the major decliners include HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, Bajaj Finserv, and Shriram Finance. Notably, Divis Labs and Shriram Finance have achieved 52-week highs on the Nifty index.
On Sensex, the leading gainers are Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, Wipro, and Infosys, while Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, M&M, and SBI are among the top losers. Hindustan Unilever (HUL) is the sole stock on Sensex to hit a 52-week high.
In broader market movements, the BSE Midcap Index has gained 0.76%, and the Small Cap Index is up by 1.34%.
