Sensex and Nifty in Green

As of 2:09 pm today, Indian benchmark indices are experiencing positive movements. The Sensex is trading at 83,147 points, reflecting a gain of 199 points or 0.24% since the start of the trading day. Similarly, the Nifty is at 25,404 points, marking an increase of 27.25 points or 0.11% compared to the previous close. On the NSE, market breadth shows 515 shares advancing while 1,941 shares are declining.

Among the top gainers in the Nifty are Nestle, NTPC, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Conversely, BPCL, ONGC, Shriram Finance, and Adani Ports are among the notable losers. NTPC, Bharti Airtel, Britannia, and ICICI Bank have reached 52-week highs in the Nifty.

In the Sensex, NTPC, Nestle, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and HUL are leading the gains. Meanwhile, HCL Technologies, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Tata Steel are experiencing declines. NTPC, Bharti Airtel, and ICICI Bank have also hit 52-week highs within the Sensex.

The BSE Midcap Index is down by 1.45%, and the BSE Smallcap Index has seen a decline of 1.77%, indicating a broader pullback in the mid and small-cap segments.
