Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd, a key provider of spend management solutions, has been officially licensed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to operate as a Third-Party Application Provider (TPAP) under the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) regime.
This license enables Zaggle to provide UPI-based payment services directly on its digital channels, further enriching individual as well as enterprise users’ payment experience. Through the integration of UPI into its current product stack, Zaggle hopes to provide frictionless, real-time money transactions across its entire suite of services.
The integration will be rolled out across Zaggle’s core platforms—Propel, SAVE, Zoyer, and EMS—all of which are designed to simplify corporate spend, automate processes, and infuse financial solutions into businesses.
Through this action, Zaggle is well positioned to provide a more integrated and streamlined payment infrastructure to its expanding customer base of more than 3 million users.
The move by the company into UPI payments represents an important milestone in enhancing its foothold in India’s fast-developing digital payments and fintech landscape. The move is supportive of Zaggle’s longer-term vision to become a one-stop shop for smart spend management and embedded finance services in India.
With UPI leading the Indian digital payment market, Zaggle’s foray into the TPAP segment is likely to see increased usage and open up new revenue streams across both B2B and B2C markets.
