CRED to sell Happay to MakeMyTrip

On Monday, the travel agency MakeMyTrip declared that it has agreed to buy the Happay Expense Management Platform from CRED through a business transfer agreement. According to a news release from the company, the acquisition is consistent with MMT’s dedication to providing complete corporate travel and expenditure management solutions.

With strong product development skills, data-driven insights, and scalable solutions that continuously increase value and efficiency for customers, Happay is a leader in expense management.

The deal calls for the Happay name, its expenditure management division, and its committed staff to switch to MakeMyTrip.

“By concentrating on innovation and a smooth user experience, we have continuously outpaced industry growth in the corporate travel sector over the past few years,” stated Rajesh Magow, Group CEO and Co-Founder of MakeMyTrip, who talked to ET.

Within the following ninety days, the deal is anticipated to close. The team at Happay will continue to assist the current clientele while collaborating closely with the corporate travel services team at MMT.
