LordsMed, Hindustan Antibiotics enter distribution partnership

LordsMed, Lords Mark Industries’ global healthcare division, has formed a distribution partnership with Hindustan Antibiotics Limited (HAL), a leading public sector drug manufacturer.

The healthcare company will manufacture high-quality rapid antigen test kits at its ICMR-approved GMP and ISO-certified facility in Vasai, near Mumbai, Maharashtra, and distribute those kits at an affordable rate—10% less than the average market rate—in government healthcare centres across India.

LordsMed’s goal of facilitating early-stage healthcare intervention and generating Rs75 crore in revenue in six months includes expanding the distribution network.

LordsMed’s Vasai facility recently received ICMR approval to manufacture rapid antigen test kits. The company boasts advanced manufacturing capabilities that allow it to produce rapid test kits with 98% accuracy.

LordsMed has used cutting-edge German technology to develop a wide range of rapid test kits for the detection of malaria, dengue, cardiovascular disease, syphilis, hepatitis C virus (HCV), HIV, hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), COVID, chikungunya, typhoid, ovulation, and pregnancy.

LordsMed has built a strong R&D team of experienced microbiologists and doctors and has emerged as India’s only IVD kit manufacturing company, working to develop saliva-based diagnostic solutions for a variety of diseases. The company has successfully tested saliva-based diagnostic kits for diabetes and liver disease.
