Sansera Engineering shares see block deals of Rs 750 crore

Sansera Engineering, a manufacturer of iron and steel forging products, had 62.53 lakh shares, or 11.6% of its total stock, change hands in several big transactions.

The transaction is valued at ₹750 Crore, according to data available. The buyers and sellers in the deal are still unclear.

According to reports on Tuesday, Client Ebene and CVCIGP II Employee Ebene want to sell up to 6.25 million shares in the car component producer through these transactions.

The sale included up to 5.03 million shares (9.38% equity) from Client Ebene and up to 1.22 million shares (2.28% equity) from CVCIGP II Employee Ebene, sources in the know added.

The shares were sold at prices ranging from ₹1,151.20 to ₹1,211.75.

Sansera Engineering was also mentioned on D-Street Chatter on Tuesday when it was stated that a significant block transaction is anticipated to occur in the stock soon.

Sansera was founded in 1981 in Bengaluru, and started commercial production of passenger vehicle components in 1986. It built its precision components manufacturing business in India organically, beginning with supplies to the two-wheeler sector in 1996, off-road vehicles in 2009, and light commercial vehicles in 2011.

In 2013, it established a manufacturing plant for high-precision aluminium and titanium machined aircraft components. In April 2017, the firm purchased a 100% share in Sansera Sweden, allowing it to enter the heavy commercial vehicle vertical of the automotive industry, grow its customer base, and improve geographical access to OEMs outside India.
