LIC IPO price band likely at Rs902-949 per share: Reports

According to the various media sources, the long-awaited public issue offer, Life Insurance Corporation’s (LIC) will be in the price band of Rs902-949 per share. LIC IPO likely to open for subscription from May 4, 2022. The issue is expected to close on May 9 and with this the anchor book for the LIC IPO is likely open on May 2.

Policyholders will likely get an Rs60 discount and an Rs45 discount for retail investors and employees. At the upper end of the price band, LIC is looking to raise close to Rs21,000 crore, the media reports added.

Meanwhile, the company is set to officially announce the same in a press conference on Wednesday in Mumbai.
