This was a result of an evaluation by TÜV SÜD PSB on various aspects of the company. by TÜV SÜD PSB is an independent assessment body appointed by IMDA.
The Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) is a voluntary enterprise-wide certification based on Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and international best practices. Organizations prefer the certification to demonstrate accountable data protection practices, validate their data protection regime and comply with the Act, said media reports.
The framework consists of reasonable collection, use, and disclosure of data, appropriate measures for protection, retention and disposal of data, and many other aspects.
