In an exchange filing, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced that it has achieved a provisional and unaudited turnover of approximately Rs 17,300 crore in the Financial Year 2022-23. This represents a growth rate of 15% compared to the previous year’s turnover of Rs 15,044 crore.
As of April 1, 2023, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has an order book worth approximately Rs60,500 crore. In the Financial Year 2022-23, BEL received significant orders worth around Rs20,200 crore (excluding taxes).
Notable orders obtained during the year include Himashakti, Air Defence Control & Reporting System (Akashteer), Lynx U2 systems, Medium Power Radar (Arudhra), EW Suite for MLH Upgrade, DR118 for Su-30, Weapon Locating Radar (WLR), and SARANG ESM.
During the Financial Year 2022-23, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) completed several significant projects, including Long-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (LRSAM) systems, Fire Control Systems, Akash Missile Systems, SATCOM Network, Home Land Security Systems, Command & Control Systems, various Radars, Communication equipment, Coastal Surveillance System, Electronic Warfare Systems, Electro-optic Systems, and Smart City projects.
At around 2.55 PM, BEL was trading 1.49% lower at Rs 96.10, against the previous close of Rs 97.55 on NSE.
