Mirae Asset Silver ETF NFO: All you need to know

Mirae Asset Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “ETF category”, named as Mirae Asset Silver ETF. This open-ended fund seeks to generate returns that are in line with the performance of physical silver in domestic prices.

Investment strategy: Investments made from the net assets of the Scheme would be in accordance with the investment objective of the Scheme and the provisions of the SEBI (MF) Regulations. The AMC will strive to achieve the investment objective by way of a judicious portfolio mix comprising Silver (includes physical Silver and other Silver related instruments).

Asset allocation: The Scheme would invest in silver and money market instruments.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years in a silver mutual fund should invest in Mirae Asset Silver ETF. 

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: Domestic Price of Silver.

The NFO is available for subscription from May 29 to June 6. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
