Indian Sucrose resumes sugar crushing in Punjab; stock ends higher

Indian Sucrose Limited or ISL, an integrated conglomerate engaged in manufacture of sugar and allied products, informed the BSE regarding the seasonal operation of sugar crushing.
In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, the company intimated the exchange that it has successfully started sugar crushing for the season 2020-21.

It added that the pace will slowly pick up and the capacity will be shortly reached at its site at G.T. Road, Mukerian in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

ISL settled at Rs21.85 per piece up by Rs0.35 or 1.63% from its previous closing on the BSE.
