Bharti Airtel Limited announced the launch of its cutting-edge 5G services in 3 cities of Himachal Pradesh, namely, Dharamshala, Mandi, and Baddi. Telco operator’s 5G services are already active in Shimla.
The company stated in its media filing that the true 5G network will be available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to make developments in the network and complete the process of rolling out.
Airtel’s customers with 5 G-enabled devices will be able to enjoy a high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network without any extra charges until the company manages to complete the rollout on a wider scale.
In the meantime, the company is continuously striving to augment its network to provide services across many other locations in these cities.
Pushpinder Singh Gujral, CEO of Upper North Bharti Airtel, proclaimed, 'It's my pleasure to unveil the advent of Airtel 5G Plus in the cities of Dharamshala, Mandi, Baddi, and Shimla. Residents of these flourishing metropolises can now bask in the glory of lightning-fast network speeds, soaring up to 20-30 times quicker than the already swift 4G.'
