HFCL spurts ~3% on bagging order worth Rs73.39 crore

The order for the supply of UBRs and Accessories is to be completed by September 2022.

Hindustan Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) informed all the stakeholders of the company that it has received the Purchase Orders aggregating to Rs73.39 crore.

It consists of Purchase Orders of Rs51.09 crore, from one of the leading Private Telecom Operators of the Country for the supply of UBRs (Unlicensed Band Radio) along with Accessories. Another order worth Rs22.30 crore, is from one of the leading EPC players of India for the supply of Optical Fibre Cables.

The order for the supply of UBRs and Accessories is to be completed by September 2022. The contract for the supply of Optical Fibre Cables is to be completed by June 2022.

Both the orders received are domestic in nature.

HFCL is the world-class manufacturer of Optical Fibre Cables, at company's state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Goa, Hyderabad, and Chennai. This repeat order illustrates the trust that its customers have in the company and in the quality of its products.

“This contract reflects the confidence of private telecom operators in the adoption of HFCL's indigenously manufactured products to expand their existing network infrastructure,” stated the company in its filing.

At around 10.02 AM, HFCL was trading at Rs65.45 up by Rs1.7 or 2.67% from its previous closing of Rs63.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs63.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs66.35 and Rs63.45 respectively.
