Hikal restarts manufacturing activities at Taloja plant; Stock under pressure

Hikal Limited has informed to the exchanges that in view of the Order of the Hon'ble Bombay High Court dated June 23, 2022, the MPCB has on 29 June, 2022 granted permission to the Company, to re-start manufacturing activities at its Plant located at MIDC Taloja. The Company has commenced manufacturing at the Plant in a phased manner.

"Hikal being a Responsible Care Certified company stands by its commitment to long term sustainability and ethical way of doing business", the company said in a regulatory filing  on Thursday.

At around 2:03 PM, Hikal was trading at Rs238.25 per share down by Rs0.7 or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs238.95 per share on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs241 and has touched a high and low of Rs243.70 and Rs234.45 respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs2,946.27 crore.
