The Isprava Group, a luxury holiday home developer backed by Nadir Godrej, Anand Piramal, and Dabur India's Burman family, has raised nearly Rs200 crore in a funding round led by Symphony International Holdings, a London Stock Exchange-listed company.
The Asia-Pacific-focused strategic investment firm is best known for its investments in Apollo Hospitals and Strides Pharmaceuticals.
Both Isprava Group brands, including Isprava and Lohono Stays, will use this round of corporate-level funding to expand their footprint across India and other key countries.
The funds will also be used to expand and diversify the current brand portfolio, as well as for technology and product development, as well as to strengthen strategic alliances that will promote growth.
Symphony's team has made significant investments in some of the world's leading branded real estate and hospitality companies, including Aman Resorts and the Minor Group, which now includes brands such as Anantara and Avani, among others.
Following this alliance with Symphony International, the company intends to significantly expand its business and double its presence in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
