Kalpataru Power bags order worth Rs1,416 crore for T&D business; stock climbs ~2%

Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) & its international subsidiaries has secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs1,416 crore.
The company has received these orders from overseas markets in the T&D business.

On receiving this order, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said, “We are pleased with these new order wins in our T&D business. The steady flow of orders in the worldwide T&D business expands our global footprint and solidifies our leadership position in important markets. We have secured orders more than Rs3,000 crore in the current quarter and additionally have emerged as the L1 bidder for about Rs2,200 crore.”

KPTL is one of the world's major EPC businesses, specializing in electricity transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, railways, and civil infrastructure. KPTL is now working on projects in more than 30 countries and has a worldwide reach of 67.

At around 9.23 AM, Kalpataru Power Transmission was trading at Rs367.20 up by Rs8.15 or 2.27% from its previous closing of Rs359.05 on the BSE.
