Kirloskar Oil Engines reopen Bhare plant; shares trade flat

The company had closed down many operations from March 23, 2020, in the wake of Covid-19 outbreak and pursuant lockdown to contain the spread of the pandemic.

Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. resumed operations at Bhare from May 14, 2020. The company informed the exchanges on Friday that the company has put in place requisite safety measures for the individuals at the plant to contain the spread of Covid-19.

The company had closed down many operations from March 23, 2020, in the wake of Covid-19 outbreak and pursuant lockdown to contain the spread of the pandemic. The company had gradually started operations at its various plants from April 14.

“The company and its subsidiaries are closely monitoring the situation and taking requisite steps in accordance with the directions issued by local bodies, state and central government, from time to time,” the company said in a release.

Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd is currently trading at Rs108.10, down by Rs0.4 or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs108.50 on the BSE.
