• Nifty50 is currently 16,539.50 down 66.45 points or 0.4%. Nifty Bank is at 34,993.90, down 1.07%. Mid-cap Index is down 0.78%.
• Power Grid, Coal India, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and HCL Tech are the top gainers. Ultratech Cement, HDFC Life, Asian Paints, DR Reddy’s and Shree Cement are the top losers.
• Nifty IT, Metal, and Oil & Gas stocks stay bullish. Nifty Auto stocks slid 2% while Banking & Financial Services and Consumer Durables stocks also remain under pressure.
• Out of 50 stocks traded on the NSE, 21 advanced and 29 declined.
