Indian equity markets ended the day in Green today. Nifty 50 ended, up by 50 points. Sensex ended, up by 211.16 points. Top Gainers today were BPCL, Reliance and Hero Motors. Top Losers today were Hindalco, Apollo Hospitals and JSW Steel.
All the broader indicies ended in Green. Small cap stocks saw particularly strong buying demand. IT stocks, Metal Stocks, and Finance Services stocks saw some selling pressure today. Auto stocks and Oil & Gas stocks saw some good buying demand.
IRFC, Suzlon and Yes Bank saw maximum trading volume at NSE today. In value terms, Reliance, HDFC Bank and IRFC saw maximum turnover today. 91 stocks touched new 52 week high today at NSE. 29 stocks touched new 52 week low.
