Markets trade in green

Indian benchmark indices trade in green during the afternoon session on Friday after a positive start.

Sectoral indices Nifty Bank & Financial Services maintained a positive momentum so far in the day with about a 1% uptick. Nifty Auto and IT drive the chart with marginal gains.

Nifty Oil & Gas index was feeling the pressure on the charts with a 1.33% decline. The Nifty Metal, Media, and Pharma sectors also added to the downward pressure with declines of up to 2%.

At around 2.00 PM, BSE Sensex was trading 1% higher at 60,530 points. NSE Nifty was trading 133 points higher at 17,743.40 points.

Titan (+6.15%) emerged as the top gainer with above 6% gains despite reporting lackluster numbers for Q3. Bajaj Finserv (+4.02%) and Bajaj Finance (+3.56%) joined the rally with a nearly 4% upside. Followed by, HDFC Bank (+2.75%) and HDFC (+2.48%) with up to 3% gains.

Meanwhile, Adani Enterprises (-11.66%) and Divis Lab (-11.26%) shares plunged about 12%. Tata Consumer (-2.06%), BPCL (-1.66%), and Hindalco (-1.63%) put pressure on the chart with about a 2% decline.
