Markolines Pavement hits new 52-week high on biggest-ever order win worth Rs325 crore

Markolines Pavement Technologies Limited (formerly Markolines Traffic Controls) informed that the company has received its biggest ever work order (WO) to date worth Rs325 crore (excluding GST).

The order is received from Gayatri - Cresent (JV) for the Construction of a new 6-lane Tunnel in the Khambataki Ghat Section. This includes approaches for the Pune - Satara Section of NH4 in Maharashtra under NHDP Phase -Von EPC mode.

This contract will be completed over the next 18-24 months and will be added to the company's current unexecuted order book, bringing the total unexecuted order book to Rs594 crore.

The company delivered revenue of Rs187 crore in sales in FY22. This order is 1.75 times of its FY22 sales, and the order book at Rs594 crore is 3.18 times its FY22 revenue, executable over a two-year period.

Markolines Pavement Technologies Ltd is an Indian firm that provides all services under the umbrella of Highway O&M, including specialist services like Microsurfacing and CIPR.

Tunnel building is another specialist sector added to the company's range of services, and there are just a few companies in India with tremendous potential in the next years.

At around 9.51 AM, Markolines Traffic Control was trading at Rs132.05, up by 5.20% against previous close of Rs125.40 on BSE. So far, the scrip hit a new 52-week high of Rs138.60.
