PhonePe releases Smart Speakers for digital payment alerts at shops

For accurate and convenient payment tracking at merchant locations, the global leader in digital payments PhonePe has released its Smart Speaker. Additionally, the Smart Speaker has been introduced in 8 cities and PhonePe merchant partners have already started using over 100,000 units.

According to the company, the product provides payment alerts in 11 Indian languages, does indeed have a battery life of up to 4 days along with doorstep installation for just Rs 50 as a one-time setup fee, and a low monthly subscription of Rs50.

However, during the first pandemic wave in 2020, Paytm was the first fintech business to introduce its Soundbox. After that, BharatPe announced the release of its speaker gadget in February and claims to have signed up 300,000 business partners.
