Ashoka Buildcon Announces New Orders Amid Cancellation of Road Project Bid

Ashoka Buildcon declares mixed updates on road projects. The company said it has withdrawn its bid for Kharagpur-Chandrakona-Ghatal road project (Package-1) in West Bengal, which was the sole bid received. The NHAI cited administrative reasons for the cancellation. The NHAI’s economic corridor project involves developing a 41 km stretch under the Hybrid Annuity Mode.
Despite the loss, however, Ashoka Buildcon bagged a Letter of Award (LoA) for the Bowaichandi-Guskara-Katwa road project in Package-3. Under Package-3, there is the development of the 43 km stretch under which Ashoka Buildcon will continue its huge Highway construction presence.
Another eventful development for Ashoka Buildcon was a NoA for a ₹ 192.69 crore worth project from Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited.
Focus Areas: Installation, testing and commissioning of 11 kV lines as the feeder separation program is a KfW-financed project.
Anticipated completion time of the project: 24 months.
