Ashok Leyland breaches 3 million production units milestone at Pantnagar plant

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group's main firm, said on Thursday that it had rolled out three million vehicles from its Uttarakhand manufacturing. The heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer stated that it remained committed to its goal of being one of the top ten commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturers worldwide.

'We take pride in reaching this notable achievement. Ashok Leyland consistently stays at the forefront, leading the commercial vehicle industry with advanced product technology and innovation,' expressed Shenu Agarwal, the Managing Director and CEO of Ashok Leyland, as stated in a company release.

'The unveiling of our three millionth vehicle signifies our well-earned reputation for producing exceptionally reliable products and providing excellent customer service,' stated in an official statement.

'The accomplishment at the advanced manufacturing plant in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand underscores Ashok Leyland's commitment to innovation, technological progress, and robust customer connections,' he continued to express.

According to the statement, the firm has launched a thorough network expansion to strengthen its national presence and reach. This expansion reinforces our commitment to providing clients with exceptional service and support. Ashok Leyland's global footprint now spans 48 nations.

The 3 millionth car from our production confirms the collaborative efforts of our multiple teams, including our supplier and technology partners,' said Ganesh Mani, the company's Chief Operating Officer.

As Ashok Leyland celebrates 75 years, the firm is committed to developing a sustainable and eco-friendly transportation environment while also pursuing its objective of being one of the top ten commercial vehicle manufacturers in the world, according to the statement.
