G.G. Tronics India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Murugappa Group-owned CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., has received a “KAVACH” order from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works in West Bengal, a Government of India entity.
The order includes the procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH equipment in accordance with RDSO regulations, as well as yearly maintenance for an 11-year period, CG Power stated in an exchange filing on Wednesday, November 27.
The order includes complete wiring, harnessing, cabling, and connection to the Loco KAVACH system.
The order, valued between ₹500 Crore to ₹600 Crore, is expected to be implemented during the next 12 months.
G.G. Tronics Pvt. Ltd., situated in Bengaluru, specializes in developing, producing, delivering, and installing electronic safety integrated signaling systems for the railway transportation sector.
It also offers Automatic Train Protection Systems (IRATPS), commonly known as KAVACH, as a developer vendor.
GG offers single and multi-section digital axle counters, as well as high availability digital axle counters, both of which are RDSO certified and meet CENELEC SIL 4 specifications.
At around 10.34 AM, CG Power was trading 1.84% higher at ₹749, against the previous close of ₹735.45 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of ₹754.80, and ₹738.10, respectively.
